Interventions and Interruptions

A small thought after a long week.

When planning to the minute, instruction and interventions for students, last-minute disruptions to the school day (planned, non-urgent, unnecessary¬†changes that aren’t communicated until 10 minutes before the day starts) feel like a kick in the gut from the very people who are supposed to support you.

I suppose every workplace feels like middle school sometimes, even when you work in a middle school. I just wish it didn’t.
